As an E.S. Librarian, I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as it's previous volume and it's concluding volume. It took me a few pages to get "into" the story, but once I did, I finished the book in one sitting. I would highly recommend this to all young readers, Grade 6+, especially the girls. As an E.S. Librarian, book was "recommended". Definitely an interesting read and written in such a way as to appeal to young readers, however, NOT for E.S. Subject matter and language is definitely H.S.

As an E.S. Librarian I decided to read this book. Well written. An interesting way of dealing with and trying to explain a very difficult subject, to a young person. Written from the point of view of the two young people involved. Probably not a good fit for an E.S. but definitely Middle school or H.S.As an E.S. Librarian I decided to read this book.
