Great story. Despite not having colour illustrations it was still engaging and our 3 year old still questioned things in the pictures. I like it when it's not all about colour stimulation.

A solid classic. I was lucky to get a chance to visit the Public Garden in Boston, where this story is immortalized with bronze sculptures of the ducklings and their mama. I know I read this as a child, but it was nice to revisit it again.
