The contrast between the imagined pig parade and the realistic pigs is a startling realization to the fact that picture book animals are not true to form.

This book was kind of funny. I don't know if it would funny if you were reading to kids but they might find it funny if they were reading to themselves. The illustrations are also really good and kinda gross :) just like pigs
