For anyone who likes the 39 Clues series, or is just looking for something good to read, I would recommend the Seven series. They are quite similar, and are very popular in my school. The first one is Between Heaven and earth by Eric Walters, but you can read them in any order. Just don't rear the second one, Lost Cause, before you read the first one. Lost Cause spoils a lot of the first book. Hope this helps! This is one of my favorite series, but I would recommend reading the rest of the series first. This book contains a few spoilers, you just can't tell until you read the books what they are. As soon as you hit the fifth chapter or so {sorry, I read this series a while age, so my memory of it is very limited} you understand a ton of thing you would wish you didn't. It takes away from the rest of the series, because you wouldn't be asking the same questions the characters are. Sorry to anyone who now wants to read this book since I just told you not to read this book first. Of course you can, but it takes away from the rest of the series. It was still great, and very helpful.
