Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Starts with Joseph Gordon-Levitt jogging down through Stanley Park sea wall in Vancouver, B.C.

Gordon-Levitt, Rogen, and Kendrick make this comedic tearjerker worth watching. Each actor brings something nice to the movie without blowing it out of proportion. These characters are dimensional and remind you of the important things in life: friends and family.
A huge theme of this movie is don't let anything hold you back (whether it be love or cancer, it applies to all.)
A must watch!

This movie is billed as a comedy, but it's actually a real tearjerker. I was bawling by the end of it. So it's probably not for you if you're looking for something light and funny, but I really enjoyed it anyway. The characters and the story seemed very realistic and there was no attempt to sugarcoat things. Seth Rogen was honestly the weakest link here - his antics seemed a bit out of place in a movie about cancer.

I truly enjoyed this movie about suffering cancer and true friendship. The dynamic exchange of dialogues between Seth Rogen and Joseph G-L was fun and somehow touching near the end. You can not imagine a better friend like that during a situation where people just freaked out about you.

Let's hope we all take good care of our good friends during the most difficult time in life.

This completely exceeded my expectations. The cancer issue is dealt with realistically, the friendship between the men rings absolutely true, and all of the characters are well-written as actual human beings. Funny bits, sad bits, and overall well worth your time.

The previews make this look like kind of a goofy movie but in fact it has a lot to say about cancer and how it affects a person's life. There isn't a lot of detail about the physical aspects of chemo. Instead the focus is on the main character's relationships. We all know that there is a lot of ambivalence in even the best relationships, and that crises can amplify things. Whether or not the end result is more closeness or a complete implosion depends on the good will of the people involved. This is beautifully illustrated here. The acting is solid, and the writing is right on the money, which isn't surprising since the screenwriter himself has had cancer and knows whereof he speaks.

Some good laughs, and genuine humanity, but most importantly, it has none of the melodramatic acting that has become the norm in a lot of movies. I've added 1.5 stars to my original rating, b/c I have now watched it 3x AND now want to own the blu ray. Bonus: it was shot in Vancouver.

Sad movie. It's always hard to find out someone close is sick. Determination to cure yourself and help from others can do wonders. Sometimes you can beat the odds.

Unexpectedly, I really enjoyed this movie. It was an original, heart felt movie. Best of all was the friendship between the main characters.
