Add a CommentThis has a lot of traditional recipes, most are easily accessible if you have mastered making crusts.
For cookbook lovers this is a good one. I had to buy it. Will be using some of those recipes in my catering business.
Nice to read a cookbook done by people who enjoy what they do. The recipes are truly longtime winners from banana bread to carrot cake to chocolate chip cookies. Luscious photos showing the results aranged with vintage americana items accompany the recipes. For many recipes there are notes, tips, and additional suggestions for variations. All very yummy!
Fun Book!
One of the best cookbooks out there. I love a cookbook with heavy pages you can turn, great graffics and her vintage backery is the best ever. If you ever go to Savannah, go meet this gal from Southern Illinois and her hubby, Griff. They are the nicest geniune people you will ever meet. Best of luck with the cookbook Cheryl Day!
