This book is really good. it is about a girl who travels from England to America on a mutinous ship and becomes one of the crew really good!

I have read this two times now. I thought maybe after further understanding it, it wouldn't be as boring. But, it just "bleh". Honestly it's boring, and just when you think it will become exciting it ends up really being nothing.

A sea story in the same vein as the excellent Jacky Faber series, but rather more serious. I liked the ending, even if the heroine potentially exchanged one form of bondage for another..

It was a pretty good book, although Charlotte made me bang my head against the bedroom wall three or four times at the beginning. She's so stupid!! Take a hint, girl! She smartens up after a while though. However, I do think that, given her circumstances, she made a good choice at the end. It's probably what I would have done.

This is a surprisingly good adventure story. Don't let the cheesy cover fool you.

Fantasic! This is one of two books that really fueled my passion for reading at an early age. I've read it myself a few times and will read it with my kids, great book!
