"The power of a positive attitude, determination, desire, and never gving up" from book Everything I Need to Know I learned from a Children's Book edited by Anita Silvey p.155
Classic story. Great illustrations! You can almost hear the different voices of the various trains.
A great children's book with a message that you'll carry with you through life.
A great classic that even my one year old likes....however it is a bit long to read the whole story. It is better suited for 3 years and up. Great illstrations
Loren Long's illustrations are dark & grotesque & add nothing to Watty Piper's classic story.
Timeless children's classic about optimism, work ethic, and service to others.
