A classic! Great for all ages, but awesome for kids who like to be hands-on and count!

An absolute classic, still much beloved by the preschool set. Parents interested in introducting their children to STEM concepts at a young age would do well to borrow this title - colors, metamorphosis, food and eating, nature! A fabulous book for all ages.

we can't get enough of this one! so many terrific learning themes are presented - colors, progression, metamorphosis and nature, food and eating!, and courage.

My oldest is now 9, my youngest is 6 and I read this to my kids all the time. My version has become a little twisted as the kids have gotten older: "No! Don't go so close to the sun!" A fun read, even without the extras. ;-D
