This book (and the others we've read in this series) makes a great bedtime story book. The names make the kids laugh; most of the chapters end in a cliffhanger (which the kids find excruciating); and the size is just right: the chapters take about 5 to 10 minutes to read, and the book as a whole can be read in one circulation period. And the story is great, but nothing like the movie of the same name.
