Read the book. It is so much better. This DVD is a fun romp, but does not capture the warmth and sentiment that make this such a special book. Enjoy this DVD for what it is, a whimsical, witty cartoon to entertain. But make sure you make the book a part of your Christmas tradition for years to come.
