I really loved this movie and I would recommend it to adults to watch. The content might be too much for children. It was nice to see Kevin Spacey do a comedy and the addition of Rachel Weisz made the film.

I saw the dvd movie and I had laughed through the movie this isnot for children to watch

Not Paul Giamatti's best work, I liked him better in Duets. But its an OK christmas movie. Very relatable to anyone who has a brother that always overshadows them.

Good - Though I do have some reservations about some of the content of this picture, the film was enjoyable with all the expected heart-warming scenes. Vince Vaughn is wonderful as a guy suffering from being overshadowed by his now famous brother - Santa Claus. I particularily loved and grateful to the beautiful nod to why we celebrate Christmas through a lovely rendition of Silent Night close to the end of the film - the birth of the child Jesus. Overall, Paul Giamatti played a convincing Santa Claus and this movie is a definite film to be watched over Christmas. The script is a surprisingly resonant take on sibling rivalry, with lots of heart-tugging sentiment, and solid messages about family, self-esteem, forgiveness and ultimately redemption.
