Better than the original trilogy! Ignore the naysayers who are just jealous and want to spoil our fun. I look forward to new Lisbeth Salander novels for many years to come! I loved the film also, an incredible transition for Claire Foy;…

A good read, after getting in to it I had a hard time putting it down. True to the original characters.

I didn’t have high hopes for this novel, after reading multiple reviews. However, it was a great book. I think that Stieg Larsson would be proud of David Lagercrantz for taking on his famous millennium series. Lagercrantz did a fantastic…

Ugh. This is a terrible imitation of the Stieg Larsson books. Just pretend the series is limited to the original three books and live happily ever after. Or wade into this slow, badly written follow on at your own risk.

David Lagercrantz writes in a more compact, tighter-paced style than Stieg Larsson. Lisbeth Salander's character remains as near stark primaeval as ever. But the world of Mikael Blomkvist has been woven so many times now, it's becoming…

I couldn't put it down. The characters remained true to the originals. The prose pulls you along. Looking forward to the next one!

I loved the original trilogy, and so had high hopes for this novel. The premise was promising, and I thought, "Lizbeth vs. the NSA? This should be good." I was very disappointed, mostly in the style of writing. Authors have a cardinal…

The little boy in the story was a fascinating character. Not much else in the book was worthwhile.

A must read in preparation for the movie version, starring Claire Foy, coming out fall 2018. Bit of an acting stretch - from HRH the Queen to the disturbed and disturbing Lisbeth Salander - but betting Foy will nail it!

Most of the book is great, but you can tell right were Larsson stopped Lagercrantz picks up. Larsson let the story unfold, but Lagercrantz seemed to hurry the ending. It may have been because of dead line issues, but it does hurt the story…

Great summer read. It does start out slow and then get's rolling. Funny how most characters are either idiot's or really good people. Really good read..

As a fan of the Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson, I was hoping for the best with this continuation of the series by another author and translator. Fortunately it was a very worthy addition to the series, a story that I greatly enjoyed.…

This was a good read. I was prepared not to like it but was surprised how closely the new author David Lagercrantz kept the tone and pace of Stieg Larsson's trilogy. It was enjoyable and I recommend it.

awesome read! moved rapidly and kept you entertained 4/5 stars here! didn't really notice this was a new author continuing the books--

As with the Larsson trilogy, most of the plot is character driven. I remind myself that this is an imitator's extrapolation in translation and, from that perspective, it is pretty good. Although the jargon in chapter 5 is not technically…

Though the tone was different and obviously it would be with a new author AND a new translator, I still enjoyed the story and it was great to see the characters again after a long time. Altogether less intriguing and far more 'tame' than…

Wow, I can't believe all of the negative comments made about this book. I loved it! I thought that David Lagercrantz did a fabulous job of continuing the series that I loved so much. I thought that he was true to the iconic characters,…

Boring, boring, boring.

It is a darn good read. Maybe not as good as Stieg could put together but that was his life's work. I enjoyed it, Lagercrantz took on someone else charactersbuilt on them . I would have prefered seeing Stiegs characters disappear in…

I must agree with all the comments from those who rated it with ONE STAR. I got about 25 pages into this and gave it up. This book was stolen from Stieg Larssons's long-time live-in girl friend. It's a shame that those family members of…

Terrific and intriguing. As excellent as the other Salander`s novels. The main character continues surprising and captivating us. I wish it could have many more pages!

I started reading this book and after the first few chapters thought, "Wow, Stieg Larsson must have had some sort of a setback. Why does he keep going on about the weather like an awkward tourist who has run out of things to say?". Then…

Pretty good. I haven't read the previous books in the series - have only seen the Swedish version movies, which were excellent. So I cant compare it to the original author. I would rate this book a pretty good read. I love the Lisbeth…

Supposed to be the fourth book in the series - it is so in name only. Although it is an OK read it is not up to the standards of the first three books. I hesitate to use the word ripoff, but. . . If you must own a copy, wait until it is…
