I really liked how the characters stories interwind, even before they become friends, a good read. I've seen a lot of people call it boring. It is anything but.
Four grade 6 students make up an A team to try out for the State championship Quiz Bowl. This book is quirky, funny, intelligent, and above all enjoyable.

This book was incredible. However, I think that this book should be read by kids 11 years or older because it has some sophisticated meanings and is not exactly in chronological order.

I can definitely see why this book was a Newberry Medal winner. Skillfully written, the jumps in the plot line worked magnificently in this case. Very funny, but also had its serious points. Definitely recommend this book.
This is a really good book that tells you, being the most popular girl at school isn't what it's all about. Also by E.L. Konigsburg:
