4 & 7 year olds found it hilarious to notice all the crazy details in the wacky rescues the chickens made. Author has other animal to the rescue books to if you like this one

My children LOVE this book! We've read it so many times that we noticed that there's always a lookout chicken, and a chicken sleeping that laid & egg! We will now be borrowing the rest of the series. 5 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very funny, great pictures and a recurring punchline which kids can shout out loud: "Chickens to the Rescue!"

I read Pigs to Rescue first which I loved because the facial expressions of the pigs was a laugh a minute. The problem with using chickens as your main characters is with those beaks, they have no facial expression. The chickens here…

The pictures and story are hilarious fun. Great audience participation story if you can get all the kids to yell "CHICKENS TO THE RESCUE" at the appropriate moments.

It's fun to watch the chickens as they help the different members of the family and the other farm animals get out of sticky situations. Probably best for for pre-school and up.
