Lily Danziger packed up her newborn daughter and headed for a new start--until a Montana blizzard stopped them in their tracks and she had to ask a stranger for help. He led them to a temporary refuge, but could he also hold the key to a future Lily has only dreamed of?
I chose this book to read because I like Montana, westerns and romances.
However, I didn't like this book at all. It was beyond boring so I leafed through it after a few chapters to see if it would get better. I didn't finish it when I came across some sex scenes. I won't be reading any of this author. There are plenty of clean romances out there to read.
With apologies to the previous reviewers, I found this book uninspired. The number one rule in writing fiction is "show, don't tell" and the author broke this rule all over the place. The one thing I wish the author would have told us is why the hero's name was Quist? The heroine herself wondered at the oddity of it in chapter one. When the ideal man's name rhymes with twist and is one letter away from quit, that's worth an explanation.
This book was a great read. The general idea is big strapping man who is scared of commitment is thrown together with the sweet, honest woman due to circumstances beyond their control. It may seem like this plot has been done a million times but I just so enjoyed this book. It really tugged at my heart strings. Would absolutely recommend!!
Absolutely LOVED this book. Very touching story with just enough sex to not make you incredibly uncomfortable reading it. Was very sad to have finished the book it was so good!!!
