In centuries past, the Jesuits of Naples held ecstatic masses among arrays of Skeletons: up to 60 masses a day, after which parishioners with torches would descend to the catacombs to pray over skulls. Today, a few still adhere to the old rituals, visiting crypts below the city, washing the bones of old loved ones, free of the corrupted flesh of the world. When one such woman - a bone cleaner - discovers the corpse of a beautiful college student amongst the bones, Captain Natalia Monte of the city's Carabiniere is called in to investigate...

How! What a piece of crap. You'd think the author tried to copy (badly) Dan Brown. and the Godfather. Church, bones, secret passages, explosions... and two characters that are hard to follow. Small book, badly executed. At least there was only 200 pages to get through. I hope there is no sequel to this garbage (let Naples take care of it...).
