I really enjoy all of Ellen's books, and I've read almost all of them. She's become my favorite author after I had read Rumble and fell in love with the free-writing poetry. This book is especially my favorite because there's many parts of the story that I can relate to, although triggering, and feel the emotion in my chest out of empathy. After reading it my first type, I bought my own copy to read it over and over again a million times. I highly recommend this book, and all of her other books.

Another great book by Ellen Hopkins . She writes in such a unique format . The books may be thick but don't let that stop you . Her books just flow along about serious issues and get right to the heart of the topics / matter she chooses to write on. The characters are so well explored and this story is just another great book in her line of writing . Recommend it .
You won't regret reading any of her books and she leaves you wanting MORE !

Wow....this was my first book read by Hopkins and it was great. This book is a must read. Although it could be triggering for someone that might have struggled with any of the problems in the book. BUT the ending was great in a end of a book way. If that makes sense.

This was my very first Ellen Hopkins book and thus far my favorite. After reading this I became hooked on her work! The story was interesting from the very beginning, easy to read, realistic, and connectable. There wasn't a moment where I didn't feel close to the characters! I really don't want to give anything away but this is a MUST READ!

When I first read this book, I dind't realize that I'd become so hooked. I LOVE the writing format, and the face that you gain so much knowledge on such serious issues. It was very interesting, and I've gone along and read all of the authours books. Amazing. Some of the female characters were relatable too. Best book <3

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Some people may consider some scenes frightening/intense, but it really depends. The parts I am talking about are really brief and not so intense.

"Memory is a tenuous thing, like a rainbow's end or a camera with a failing lens. Sometimes my focus is sharp, every detail clear as the splashes of ice, fringing the eaves; other times it is a hazy field or frost, like the meadow outside my window."
