Douglass, who's very well known to peace activists in the Seattle area for his early work against the Trident base at Bangor, not only tells in detail the sordid story of how Indian independence leaders may have collaborated with the assassination of their inspirational figurehead but also connects it with the assassination of John F Kennedy. Convincing, if mostly circumstantial, evidence of the "unspeakable" tendency of fundamentalists of all stripes to want to control public life.
