This book is witty and enjoyable for kids and adults alike. I love these types of kids books, the kind that don't bore me when I read them to my little ones.

For someone who has used chopsticks all my life, this story sounds a bit silly. You just simply don't use chopsticks to do the things pictured in the book! As hinted in the author's previous book "Spoon", chopsticks were thought to be exotic compared to Spoon. Indeed, that's the stand the author takes throughout the Chopsticks book.

So full of puns it is almost corny, but kids will probably enjoy all the unusual things you can use chopsticks for.
