Makes you wonder about which is true evolution or the bible?

Everyday I see how evolution has shaped, mutated our world.(see what I did there:P)But I don't see evidence for the belief, what I see is that everyday some person references evolution in a context that they believe it is true. Now some, if not most, of the evolution believers are the younger generation, my generation. While I was lucky to be not-public schooled(free choice) a lot of children were not.
In the sixties, there were arguments on whether or not children should be forced to pray in public schools. Both as a Christian and as a Constitution knowing patriotic american, I believe being forced to pray is wrong. However, my point is that such an issue, would never come up today. Today you are considered weird if you close your eyes, bow your head, and put your hands together to spend time speaking to God. Before that was considered normal, right. If you prayed in school at now you would stand out. Now for us Christians we want our faith to stand out, but it is sad that it stands out in a negative way. Oh, how we, in a half century, have fallen.

A very well done explanation of how evolution works and how archaeology is done. It takes a few examples of human features and shows how the feature evolved. Takes the story to several important archaeological sites and he talks to several important scientists. He does not point it out but you will see several guards with automatic weapons when they are in the rift valley.

The enthusiasm of Shubin is palpable. The graphics and animations are amazing. Best of all the explanations of the evolutionary morphology of hands, ears, skin, and even brain structure is crystal-clear.

This is not a video for anyone who has already decided that evolution is some evil hoax that is being told to us. It is all about the science of evolution and how it can explain the development of the human being. Fascinating.

Well-produced, good graphics, seems like sound science, and an engaged and enthusiastic presenter - this is a very good example of what a documentary should be!

Interesting material presented in an available fashion.

Elucidates complex ideas and discoveries using clarifying visuals,.. and conveys the excitement of the scientific explorers,.. without talking down to us.

I don't know what exactly is wrong with this series - except I found it to be not very informative. It is beautifully done, but seemed - shallow? And a word of warning - not for the squeamish.

Dr. Shubin is very well spoken. Topics covered were very interesting and educational. Production quality was great.
