A bit slow-paced but I stuck with it and was glad I did. Interesting to see the conditions of the human heart in learning to be selfless and consider someone else first.

I could never understand why my parents loved this movie so much. And then I watched it. And totally cried. It is lovely.

My husband is a featured extra in this movie! When Cicely Tyson is at the bus depot buying her ticket, my husband is the soldier standing right behind her! He's a star! :-)

I don't like none of the characters in this extremely annoying,fence-hopper promoting, fake it until you make it,self-righteous,and deeply narcissistic,90 minute black torture chamber.

Good Movie about natural instincts to return to the source of our roots. Children prefer their own plans and do not want to be inconvenienced. This 80 plus mother wants to enjoy her last wish to go back and visit the place of her childhood well acted movie. We enjoyed it.
