He named her Winnie, after his hometown of Winnipeg, and he took the bear to war. The true story of a remarkable friendship and an even more remarkable journey. At the London Zoo, Winnie made another new friend: a real boy named Christopher Robin.

I knew RinTinTin was a real dog from WWI but didn't know WinnieThePooh was a real WWI bear. Interesting tale geared toward young kids. Written by descendent of the man who rescued the bear as a cub.
I would have preferred just the bear's story rather than the story of a woman reading the bear's story to her little boy.

Disappointing I was expecting a movie about the author. Give it a 5 star for the kids cause they'll love it.
