I really didn't know what this was going to be like. All I saw was Tutankhamun as the title, so I requested it because I love anything about ancient Egypt. Not until I actually brought it home that I realized it was a 4-part series about the discovery of King Tut's tomb. I really enjoyed it! I'm not sure how accurate it is...I know some things were for sure fictionalized, but it was still good.

Basically a standard Hollywood treatment of historical characters. The writer took a great deal of license in his story.

If you want historical accuracy, this is not the one to watch!

However, it's a diverting period piece and if you suspend your disbelief, you should be mildly entertained. Not the BBC's best and not its worst.
