A great doc! You learn so much about the design of shoes and what goes into them. He truly is a man of his time. All the influences on his work is right there to see and learn from. I love the fact that he tries to pass it on and still creates the traditional way of making shoes. He tells all his secrets to success. So glad the library got this.

His shoes could have been in Art Museums and I'm they are. It was interesting to see his beginnings and where it took him but the documentary was a tad too long and you lose interest.

Wasting of time. Nothing interesting in this documentary. I couldn't watch it till the end.

interesting doc about Manolo's life and fame (which he claims he doesn't like), lots of famous people. I was expecting to find out the secret to why the shoes are supposed to be so comfortable - when they look like instruments of torture......

Ok documentary about this famous shoe designer. I wish there had been more about his rise to fame and his design approach. There was a lot of fancy graphics which didn't seem to add to the narrative in my humble opinion. So serviceable but not like some much better fashion docs I've seen in recent years.
