Murderbot Diaries - the Best SF I've read in years. Highly recommended.

Really enjoying the Murderbot diaries. They're so short I get to read a whole book in an evening, but they don't short you on the story. I think I even prefer getting the overall story in short bites. As one big book, it might be a little unwieldy, plus I'd rush through the whole thing. Dividing it into four chapters makes it much more accessible and enjoyable.
The writing is fun and the characters are good. Highly recommended.

Murderbot continues to be a fascinating and amusing narrator, and its adventures are exciting. The climactic battle in this novella is amazing. It's always great to see strong female characters, and the female characters in this book definitely fit that description. Can't wait for the next book in this thought-provoking series!

Eagerly awaiting the next (last?) installment of this series. I really enjoy this world created by Martha Wells and cannot wait to see how our MurderBot, aka, Eden plans on sticking it to GrayCris in the final chapter.

If you enjoy science fiction and feel you cannot devote a great deal of time reading, this series is for you! Four Novellas (clocking in at about 150 pages each) tell the continuing story of our sentient SecUnit wanting freedom while still caring about the humans/aliens living around the outer rim.

On another note; Ms. Wells' world seems to be populated by many races, however the "he" pronoun is hardly ever at play in these books. We're mostly exposed to "she" and "shem"(alien race designation) Not sure I really thought about it until I was half way through this book. Which gives it another interesting layer in these times. #metoo

pg 97: We're talking about GrayCris here, whose company motto seemed to be "profit by killing everybody and taking their stuff".
Does this sound familiar?!?!
