This is a collection of graces from many traditions - Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, etc. I cam across this title in my quest to find dinner prayers that were more resonant than the standard one I had been taught as a child or the simpler ones that I had prayed with my own children.

In the intro, the author does a beautiful job of describing the intimate relationship that humans have with food and the God / gods who are the source of that food.

If you're looking for some new dinner prayers and an articulation of why saying grace / giving thanks is a universal phenomenon, you might want to check out this title.
