I LOVE this book! It's great for counting. It's great for animal recognition. It's wonderful to read out loud (don't be afraid to create a new and crazy voice for each guest). I find it to be quite the conversation starter with kids in storytime or one-on-one. You can talk about sharing, manners, logic (was it the whale or the caterpillar?). Read it. You'll love it.
