I would have liked to know a little more about what the scientists were doing, but I now know a lot more about the geography of Antarctica and this history of exploration there.

Highly recommended. Her deep reflections prompted by the extreme surroundings, the great adventures she has, and her entertaining historical insights make this a book I could not put down.
