I had this book on hold in my queue for a year (January 2012-January 2013). I never moved past spot #4 for the 1 copy the NYPL supposedly has. I think this book is lost and the library needs to re-order it in multiple copies.

Lovely blend of sports, horse racing and recalcitrant fathers. A great history lesson for everyone.
