Still the best Vietnam War history in video format. No its not all pretty like Ken Burns. There’s no soundtrack and audio ‘enhancement’ of historical footage. However, it features numerous interviews with those who were at the top during, Giap, for example. In addition, you get a deep dive into the French era. Whereas Burns just skimmed over. I guess they felt US audiance wasn’t interested? And they are really not, which speaks to why the one vol history by Karnow is still the best account.
