The Hunter's Moon was nowhere near as good as expected, so I was very disappointed. I love reading books that focus on the fey world, but this one was very childish and I just couldn't wait to be done with it. One of my least favorite books. This is geared toward very young readers in my opinion. I would recommend reading Julie Kagawa's "The Iron Fey" series, which is so much better, and filled with the things that this book was supposed to have in it.

Loved finn. She and the king were so sweet together. Gwen and Dara were cute too.

"American teenager Gwen is visiting her cousin Findabhair in Ireland, where the two of them had planned to travel in search of an opening into the magical world... but instead, the magical world found them. The King of Faerie has kidnapped Findabhair, and now Gwen must find a gateway into the faerie world and rescue her before the King can make a human sacrifice of her. This thrilling and romantic adventure provides plenty of Irish legend and lore and is the 1st in the Chronicles of Faerie series." Read this book several years back. Definitely has that faerie/irish lore vibe. The author took their time to plan this out in the most realistic sense of what would occur if a cousin were to be abducted into the faerie world. A very touching novel with memorable scenes and characters.
