Very poignant pop music and significant and interesting biographical background. Cohen, descendant of Jewish priestly class and grandson of 2 rabbis, is a self-acknowledged fornicator, a Rinzhai Zen monk, a poet, who plumbs the depths of faith, doubt, love, hope, ambiguity, world sorrow, irony, and renewal. The words are paradoxical, like a Zen koan.
A celebration of the songs of Leonard Cohen, featuring live interpretations by some different singers and interspersed with commentary by Leonard himself. I think this was made before Leonard began performing live on tour again, so I appreciate the effort, but you'd be better off watching one of his concert DVDs if you're new to his music. This is geared more toward his fans.
This is a tribute to Leonard Cohen by a variety of artists, along with comments by Leonard Cohen. Well done.
Very good concert / documentary.
Cohen's song's come to life with various singers, and Cohen sings with Bono and U2 as a back up band, nice work if you can get it.
Good documentry with live performances from variety of artists
