Funny, I love Donald O'Connor!
All 4 films are rather similar; if you only have time to watch one, watch the first one.
(All are definitely better than Dr. Ed!)

Watched two of the four films, both were ok, and I enjoyed seeing some of the great studio character actors like Gale Gordon and Ray Collins, but unfortunately both films beat the same basic situations to death, over and over and over and over again.

One of the creators of this originated Mr. Ed which was far funnier and far wittier. Learn by doing I guess.
