StarGladiator: Well, you definitely have the haughtiness and conceit all dialed in. However, your comment does little to reveal a mind that is even adequately equipped to weigh in on these matters--particularly in a fashion as pompous as yours!

So I can definitely continue in your assessment that " the comment below mine is so patently simple minded and simpleton in nature." Funny how that works, isn't it!

Ms. Ehrenreich is not my favorite author or socioeconomic commentator, if she is even on my list, as she simply doesn't have the depth of knowledge and background to explain why the comment below mine is so patently simple minded and simpleton in nature: the super-rich control the creation of money, through their banks, and shadow banking and enormous global financial fraud without end. We are not all alike; as most people really aren't psychopathic greed mongers, but mentally healthy people seeking knowledge, beauty and pleasure, healthy pursuits not known among the ultra-rich and their cohort. The sociopathic urge to own everything, to control everything, and the colossal wealth which has enabled them to infantilize such a large portion of the population through TV, movies and entertainment in general, sets them far below the rest of us on the moral continuum.

All people of a higher tax bracket are evil. They all exhort and overwork the people dumb enough to need money from them for bills and to survive. Yet, with no real evidence of why exactly there are such class disparities and just simple bitching about how the rich are so obviously all evil, nouveau riche, super-rich, gauche and just darn odd. I found this book another reason for those with money to think that those without money are simple all willing to live on the hand-outs given to us from them. These stereotypes from both sides are dangerous and will continually keep us from realizing that we are all the same, its just the nonsense bent on material and monetary needs that keep us apart.
