My only complaint is that I started reading this book during an exceptionally busy week when I have a kazillion other things to do. I. Could. Not. Put. This. Book. Down. Thanks, Hunger Games! You make an epic procrastination aide. And this is coming from someone who used to think she didn't like ... Read More »

How many TV shows do you just have to watch?! One? Two? Five? Well in a not to distant future ther is only one show that will matter and that is The Hunger Games. It won't matter because Jennifer Aniston is among the cast, or because of the drama or the comedy or the suspense. The reason ev... Read More »

The setting is more than a little abysmal when you think about it, but following Katniss, who is literally both human prey and predator, was incredibly suspenseful and captivating. I kept thinking, “What would I do if I were in the arena?” (I wouldn’t last long.) I also had fun trying to map th... Read More »

you'd think that the subject of the book would mean it's really gruesome(Not that I'm denying it) but it's more enjoyable to read than some books with similar good content. Now waiting for my parents to let me watch the 3rd movie -.-

Deep in the meadow, under the willow
A bed of grass, a soft green pillow
Lay down your head, and close your sleepy eyes
And when again they open, the sun will rise.

Here it's safe, here it's warm
Here the daisies guard you from every harm
Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where I love you.

Deep in the meadow, hidden far away
A cloak of leaves, a moonbeam ray
Forget your woes and let your troubles lay
And when again it's morning, they'll wash away.

Here it's safe, here it's warm
Here the daisies guard you from every harm
Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where I love you.
