Doom With A View was a fast-paced, riveting mystery. The subject matter was quite a departure from the last book set in Las Vegas and the undertone was a bit more serious. The main characters were Abby, Candace, and Agent Harrison, with Dutch taking a bit of a secondary role :(. The culprit was a surprise to me, as it should be and it sounds as though the next book will have us moving to Texas. Yee-haw!

Each Psychic Eye mystery is better than the last! Psychic Abby and her best friend, PI Candace are invited to weigh in on an FBI case involving three missing teens from different states. Abby and Candace may have been approached by the head of the department, but the agent Abby must report is also her boyfriend Dutch's boss and VERY skeptical of her abilities, to the point of outright displays of hostility. He and Candace spar verbally as she defends her friend. Abby's intuition proves a connection between the cases and she slowly convinces Agent Harrison her intuitive skills can be life-saving, though not in the way he expected.
