With a serial rapist loose on the streets of Savannah, hotshot detective Ryne Robel needs all the help he can get for his task force. But Abbie Phillips isn't what he bargained for. Sent from an exclusive group of the best criminologists in the country, she's smart, fierce - and distracting. She may be a brilliant forensic profiler, but Ryne needs answers, not psychobabble and head games. Headgames, however, are exactly what the elusive suspect is all about.

As the first novel in the series, Brant's Mindhunters seem to be a riveting set of fiction. The novel was set at a very adequate pace that kept the reader interested at all times, both in the case at hand, as well as the relationship between Abbie and Ryne. I couldn't wait to read the next in the series!
