All the other elephants at the Elephant Sanctuary had best friends. Tarra was the only one who didn’t—until a feisty stray dog named Bella appeared, and the two couldn’t be separated, even when tragedy struck.

An unusual relationship is born between a dog and an elephant. Their bond is no less strong than any other, as each is there for the other through good times, and the bad. This is a story of something that really happened, and truly touched people, but gives very little information otherwise. However there is additional notes in the back about the the sanctuary. The book is more like a photo-documentary, with photos following along with the narrative.
