Cooking with Quinoa for Dummies --- by Cheryl Forberg. --- For sure I haven’t read every Quinoa book out there: the books seem to have become a bit of a bibliophilic growth industry, somewhat akin to the output of gluten-free cookery books. Forberg’s book has a lot going for it: a lot of recipes (as you might expect) that demonstrate Q’s versatility; extensive discussion of the rationale that supports the use of this versatile food in a very healthy diet; and something I don’t associate with the Dummies series of books: colour photograph eye-candy to provide you with that extra incentive to try your hand at something Q. This book is a great place to start your investigation of Quinoa but perhaps, after you’ve tried one or two recipes, you might even want to supplement the library’s copy of C with Q for one of your store-bought own. Happy cooking, happy Q-ing.
