Blood Year

the Unraveling of Western Counterterrorism
Apr 19, 2016Tokeland rated this title 5 out of 5 stars
An excellent review of current trends in the on going struggle between the West and the Islamic fundamental movements such as ISL/DASH and AQ. The author recommends a more robust and aggressive stand against these movements or the further deterioration of civil liberties, movement and privacy in the West due to ongoing terror events. David describes this as a "multi-generational struggle" and makes recommendations on how to proceed. Written by the foremost counter-terrorism expert in the West, this book is a must read for an indepth review of where we have been, and where we are going.
