Baby Driver is one of the most forward-thinking movies to be released in a very long time, with a modern twist that will have you utterly amazed by the two-minute mark. The Movie's phenomenal soundtrack was orchestrated in such a way that adds to the movie, where every scene is synced either to the song's lyrics or beat. The audience is blessed with music that fits every scene, which is phenomenal in of itself: "The Harlem Shuffle," "Bellbottoms," and "Brighton Rock" are amongst some of the tunes you may hear during Baby Driver. Though the sound technicalities don't just stop there, in fact- the entire movie is from the main character (Baby's) perspective of hearing, meaning that when he has an earbud in one ear, you will hear faint music as well as the scene's dialogue. Baby Driver keeps you on the edge of your seat for every scene, in fact- I could hardly look away whilst watching the movie! Edgar Wright is famous for his high adrenaline film style, and Baby Driver is definitely no exception, It's daring, ambitious and thrilling, chock-full of high-speed car chases and brilliant directing. If you're the type to thoroughly enjoy action and adrenaline, Baby Driver is most definitely the movie for you. 5/5. @showmethemonet! of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board Baby Driver is about a guy who drives someone around and is usually involved in a bank heist. Along the way, he meets a girl and doesn't want to do his job anymore. Directed by one of my personal favourite directors, Edgar Wright, he has once again blown me away with this extraordinary film! Not only is this a perfect film, but the soundtrack is amazing. One of the best things about this film is that everything is in sync with the music. I love this film because of how exciting and unique it is. If you are a fan of high speed car races and music, I 100% recommend this film, and give it a 5/5. -Gummibee11 of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board Following our protagonist Baby, a getaway driver for bank robbers and him falling in love with a waitress at a diner. A simple premise but the screenplay was colorful, something most movies nowadays are missing. This movie shows a genuinely kind and thoughtful criminal character. I've been a big fan of Edger's other works but this is my all-time favorite movie after 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World'. - @Florence of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library- This movie is absolutely fantastic. It has one of my most favorite music playlists of all time. The music just fit the feel of the movie so well and really helped to pull it all together. It had a perfect balance of action and the story was very well done. The characters were fantastic and the backstories were well fleshed out for a movie. The actors were fantastic as well and well suited for their roles in this movie. The action scenes and car chases are what really stand out in this movie and it had some comedic moments sprinkled throughout it as well. Overall a good movie. -@sweaterz of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board
